‘The sacred  fire of liberty  is in the people’s hands’

“The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the republican model of government, are justly considered deeply, perhaps as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.”  –George Washington, First Inaugural Address, 1789

We The People Ohio Valley will meet on the first Thursday of each month to discuss issues of the day and learn about news not covered by the media.

Our voice is heard when we show up. As Thomas Jefferson famously said, “We in America do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate.”

Every voice matters, showing up at meetings speaks clearly. If you haven’t been there in a while you are missing something good. We meet at the Mall at 6:30 PM on the first Thursday of the month.
Ohio Valley Mall Community Room in Saint Clairsville, Ohio.

Members, please bring a friend and If you are not a member already, please join us on the first Thursday of each month at the Ohio Valley Mall Community Room.

Besides covering the issues of the day, we attempt to educate our members and the public about what it means to be an American citizen. By defending our Constitution and maintaining the American vision, we strive to make our Valley, our States, and our Nation better for us all.

Politicians work every day to divide the American people by gender, race, sexual orientation, age, political party affiliation, and other divisive tactics. Politicians try to put the American people into these political categories to divide and control us while they stay in power.

Who are we?

We the People—Ohio Valley is a non-partisan, grassroots organization that does not endorse any candidate or political party.
We are an education and legislation-driven organization and speak to government decisions that affect every American. Both parties had a hand in getting this Country into our current financial mess and have forgotten who they work for.

Standing Up For America

We believe the American people can take back their government by avoiding partisan politics and demanding that every office holder follow the constitution and stop the immoral practice of spending our children and grandchildren’s future.

Sadly, mainstream media news outlets no longer act as watchdogs over the political class, instead many of them now advocate for Progressive policies and politicians. These activist Journalists are not aware that after they help take our freedoms and liberty away, they too will have to relinquish their own liberties.
